Training Manager
The Training Manager is responsible for leading and developing BRAU’s staff training and education function across Therapists, Front of House, Retail, and Management teams.
The role is focused on ensuring every team member has the knowledge, technical skills, product understanding, and confidence required to deliver the BRAU experience consistently and to the highest standard.
The Training Manager will own the development, delivery and coordination of Brau training, while building the training platforms, resources, and educational materials that support continuous learning across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Training & Education
Develop, coordinate and deliver training programs for all BRAU teams
Create structured training pathways based on each role and level of experience.
Deliver engaging in-person, practical, workshop, and digital training sessions.
Support a culture of continuous learning and professional development across BRAU.
Develop assessments to ensure employees understand and can practically apply their training.
Implement competency sign-offs where appropriate, particularly for treatments and technical skills.
Maintain records of training completion and competency.
Work with managers to identify employees who require additional support or retraining.
2. Therapist & Treatment Training
Develop and deliver training for existing and new treatments, techniques, protocols, and services.
Create clear treatment training programs covering theory, practical application, protocols, client experience, and standards.
Train therapists on new treatments prior to launch and ensure they are confident and competent before delivering them to clients.
Develop competency assessments and sign-off processes for treatment training.
Conduct regular treatment refreshers to maintain consistency and quality.
Identify gaps in therapist knowledge or technique and create targeted training to address them.
Work with relevant internal experts and treatment partners to ensure technical training remains accurate and up to date.
3. Onboarding Training
Own the training element of the BRAU onboarding journey.
Develop structured onboarding programs, platform and material for each role.
Create clear onboarding timelines, learning objectives, resources, and assessments.
Work with managers to ensure new employees successfully transition from training into their roles.
4. Retail & Product Training
Develop and deliver comprehensive retail and product education for relevant teams.
Organize training seminars and events with retail partners.
Ensure staff understand product benefits, ingredients, usage, recommendations, and key selling points.
Train teams to confidently make appropriate product recommendations based on client needs.
Develop product training materials and quick-reference resources.
Deliver training when new products are launched and maintain regular product refreshers.
5. Training Platform & Learning Resources
Lead the development of BRAU’s internal training and education platform.
Build a central, accessible library of training materials and resources.
Develop and maintain:
Training manuals
Treatment guides
Product guides
Training presentations
Videos and demonstrations
SOPs and reference materials
Assessments and quizzes
Competency checklists
Quick-reference guides
Digital learning modules
Establish a clear and easy-to-use structure so employees can access training materials when they need them.
Continuously update content as treatments, products, systems, and standards evolve.
6. Training Planning & Coordination
Build and maintain an annual and monthly training calendar.
Coordinate training across locations and teams while minimizing disruption to operations.
Plan training around new treatment and product launches.
Manage training schedules, attendance, materials, resources, and follow-up.
Ensure all required training is completed within agreed timelines.
Requirements:
Minimium 2 years experience in training, learning & development, education, wellness, beauty, hospitality, retail, or a related customer-focused environment.
Highly confident delivering both practical and classroom-style training.
Strong at creating educational content and turning complex information into clear, engaging training.
Highly organized with strong project-management skills.
Creative and proactive in developing new ways to educate and engage teams.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Comfortable building training systems and digital learning resources from the ground up.
